REACT stands for "Radio Emergency Associated Communications Team(s).

- To establish 24-hour volunteer monitoring of the Personal Radio Services for emergency calls.

-To coordinate efforts with and provide communications to other disaster and emergency relief organizations.

-To promote the benefits of and proper use of the Personal Radio Service.

-The current REACT Charter #C475, was issued April 10,1970 as a replacement for the original which was lost in storage.

-The Team was incorporated as a  501(c) 3   Not-for-Profit organization by the State of California on April 30, 1969.

-The team Board of Directors consists of 5 members, which are elected by the Team in December of each year.

-These are the  President, Vice President,  Secretary, Treasurer, and 1 At-Large Director.
